Hey lovehaight if you don't like the music, don't listen to it. It's as simple as that!

I was at this show and had a really good time. Having said that, I didn't find anything original in John K's playing and his vocal mimicry of Jerry turned made me cringe at times. I LOVED the rest of the band. Phil and Bobby in were in excellent form. I thought Joe Russo really brought alot to the band. He & Jay Lane drove the band while keeping it loose and jazzy at the same time. And I've always thought Jeff Chimenti was a good fit with these guys. I want to like John K but I do wish he would try and find his own voice both vocally and on guitar.

You need to relax. What you just said about JK you could say about any great classical conductor and orchestra the world over. I don't know you but I know you just don't seem to get it. I checked out your reviews on the archive and you seem to favor for reviews Late 80's/90's GD, The Dead, Max Creek and others. You missed the show. Enjoy the music and be greatful and keep the negativity to yourself especially when you clearly don't know what the hell your talking about.

To have this guy aping Jerrys guitar is JUST too's time for Phil and Bob to hang it up if they have to resort to this...this guy doesn't have a original bone in his body...and his voice is just fucking annoying..terrible, just listen to 1/2 Step..JG must be rolling over in his grave to hear this asshole trying to sound like him..shameful

Lots of interesting new interpretations of old favorites and very well performed. John Kadlecik adequately acquits himself and comes off as the new answer to an old problem -- how are the Dead going to replace Jerry? Well, I think they have finally done it with pride.

Eventually, if this ensemble continues to assemble, this version of the Dead will touch the heads of gray and the younger heads too especially as the principles, Phil and Bob, allow John the room to move. It's obvious he's not entirely comfortable playing with the two, but it's also obvious that he sounds more comfortable with it on this Sunday night show than he did on the Friday and Saturday.

This marks the first time this reviewer has ever heard Pride of Cucamonga performed and it did not disappoint. It's a doozie!

WOW Just listen and you will see how this band ,if practiced could be a force to be wreckoned with.DSO guy sounds good on Jerrys stuff but think how good it would be if they played 100 shows!! SMOKIN!!
I personally see a rebirth if the drummers get on board and DSO guy stays in Jerrys position with Jeff Chimenti on Keys who is AWSOME!! Thsi band could start a revolution!!!!!!
